The Dance of Monsters
Debut fantasy, 91,000 words
The Dance of Monsters follows Leo, a prince from the fallen kingdom of Elphula, on a quest to destroy the King of Monsters—the tyrant who destroyed his home and now threatens all of the world, Ekronail. Guided by cryptic dreams, Leo travels toward the monstrous mansion to finally put an end to Rhemoth’s scourge.
Along the way, he meets many warriors with the same quest, such as Cleomi, a mysterious, free-spirited warrior with secrets of her own. As they battle through the mansion’s nightmarish halls, facing terrible beasts, surpassing grave challenges, and discovering powerful relics, a quiet bond forms between them—one that may be the only light in a world of darkness.
As monsters close in, defeat looms, and the final battle draws near, the team must find their strength not just as warriors, but as something more: a united team against the monstrous king.
A story of survival, resilience, and transformation, The Dance of Monsters asks: What does it truly mean to be a monster?
The Dance of Monsters is Harrison’s first novel that he’s been working on for quite a while now. It first began as a hobby but soon evolved into a full-fledged passion project. He is currently seeking agents who would love to represent his project just as he loves to write it.
The War of Powers: Dawn of Change
Before war claimed him, Taios was content.
He lived in a quiet seaside town, where life moved with the tides and strength was something admired, not demanded. He dreamed of becoming a soldier—not for glory, but to protect what he loved and to simply be like his father. He attains that dream and rose to be an Axreian— the elite warrior forces of modern nations that can use the ancient magic of Luxeia. His content peace abruptly ends when the Viking-like kingdom of Hagaskar invades.
Taios is taken captive. His home is destroyed. His family and friends are erased.
Stripped of freedom and dignity, Taios is forced into slavery, crushed beneath a system that treats human lives as nothing but fodder. It is there, in that dark pain, that he learns what power truly is—not triumph or strength, but resilience and the will to keep trying. Taios eventually escapes and destroys his slavers, freeing all the other slaves.
But freedom does not bring peace.
After escaping captivity, Taios joins a neighboring nation’s army, finding himself in the same games of conquest wearing a different banner. Fighting beside his closest friend Ilio under the command of the renowned and brilliant Commander Kamil, Taios begins to understand that war only takes.
When the feared nation of Nuhlkon launches a sudden invasion, Taios is forced into a desperate defense of a city in the direct path of the invaders. In the chaos, he challenges a demigod and the clash would forever change the world.
